Did you know that there is often still recyclable material in general waste? This usually includes paper, cardboard and various types of plastic. We can do better, and change starts now: have your plastics collected and processed in a practical way, and sort them more effectively. All in a single collection round.
What does the Plastic Switch involve?
With the Plastic Switch, we collect no fewer than six types of plastic in a single collection, helping you to sort your waste even more effectively at source. This means that, as well as your wheelie bin, you can also have PMD bags collected for natural films, mixed films, strapping, EPS and hard plastics.
With the Plastic Switch:
- We help you comply with the sorting requirements laid down in the legislation (Flanders/Wallonia/Brussels)
- We minimise our impact on the environment
- We recycle as much as possible

It may sound simple, but it isn’t. This new method of collecting different types of plastic is completely innovative and much more sustainable. When we visit you every 2 to 4 weeks to empty your PMC container, you can also hand over up to 7 Plastic Exchange Bags. These can be combined as you wish. For example, you could hand over 7 bags of mixed plastic film. We’ll collect them all at the same time. This way, together we save on unnecessary journeys and guarantee the quality of the raw materials.
